Legal Recognition of Physiotherapy Clinics / कानूनी मान्यता
Physiotherapists in India are legally permitted to establish and operate their own Physiotherapy Clinic / Rehabilitation Centre, provided they offer physiotherapy-based treatment only, and do not prescribe medicines, administer injections, or perform surgical procedures.

- 1️⃣ Obtain BPMA Membership: Certificate acts as your professional identity.
- 2️⃣ Choose Clinic Name: Ethical names like Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation Centre.
- 3️⃣ Clinic Space: 150–200 sq.ft, proper ventilation, basic equipment, privacy.
- 4️⃣ Local Registration: Get Trade License / Shop Act Certificate.
- 5️⃣ BPMA Recognition Certificate: Issued after document verification.
- 6️⃣ Display Requirements: Show certificates & fee structure clearly.
